The Beloved

I was lost and walking in a strange city.
I wore the clothes of a stranger.
Until You came.
My Beloved.
You washed me and called me to remember.
To remember the life I had before.
To remember who I was.
You clothed me with clothes that were my own.
You fed me with food that brought fullness.
I remembered in flashes of insight.
My Beloved walks with me home.
