God in the Silence
One thing I notice is that when I sit with God in the silence daily, I am aware that I am naked before him. No not literally. Rather, I rest in the precence of the Beloved separated from my beliefs, religion, age, race, sex etc. I sit as a soul apart from all my labels and beliefs. I sit in the presence of Divine Mystery. Is this what a Buddhist or Hindu feels when they sit in silence? Are all contemplatives really brothers and sisters?
